Portoverde
Portoverde is the Misano Adriatico neighbourhood built around a marina, near the Cattolica border and the mouth of the Conca. Two connected marina basins form the circular harbour. The walk between quays and buildings offers a different perspective from the seafront opening onto the beach.
The marina basins and buildings
The Fondazione Misano tourism portal gives a capacity of up to 350 boats, from five to twenty-five metres, with floating pontoons. Pale houses, blue windows and porticoes follow a Mediterranean design. The Comune dates the harbour's building permit to 1963.
The marina surroundings are pedestrianised: the walk follows the quays and crosses the neighbourhood among shops, venues and beaches with facilities.
From the harbour to cycle routes
EcoVia del Mare starts in Portoverde and follows the Misano coast to the Riccione border. EcoVia del Conca instead leads towards the river and hinterland. Both routes and other local itineraries are described in the guide to sports activities in Misano Adriatico.
