Gabicce Mare

Hotels in Gabicce Mare

In Gabicce Mare, coastal accommodation and properties in Gabicce Monte have two different positions: the village is on the headland at about 150 metres above sea level. The Comune belongs to the Marche, on the Cattolica border. The beach, gradients and journey between hotel and centre are therefore practical factors in the choice.

By the sea or on the headland

The coastal centre is arranged between Via Cesare Battisti, Piazza Matteotti, Viale della Vittoria and Lungomare Cristoforo Colombo. The latter is pedestrianised all year. Via Panoramica climbs towards Gabicce Monte and continues into Parco naturale del Monte San Bartolo.

Gabicce Monte, Baia Vallugola and Ponte Tavollo are not synonyms for the seafront centre. For hillside accommodation, the route to the beach and hotel entrance matters, especially with pushchairs, luggage or mobility requirements. Gabicce Mare beach and the excursions in San Bartolo cover the two environments.

Hotels and apartment hotels in the Comune

For 2025, Istat records 75 hotels and 6,233 beds. Three-star hotels number 43; the eight apartment hotels are listed separately.

The data cover the entire Comune, without distinguishing seafront properties from those in Gabicce Monte or year-round properties from seasonal ones.

Opening dates and timing a stay

Beach activities and several tourist connections, including shuttles and tourist trains, follow the summer season.

For event stays, the Gabicce Mare events calendar identifies the actual venue: the harbour, centre and Monte involve different journeys. Events across the Tavollo appear in the Cattolica events calendar.

Arriving from Cattolica and getting around

Gabicce Mare has no station of its own. The nearby station is Cattolica-San Giovanni-Gabicce, from which an onward journey to the accommodation is needed. Adriabus services connect the area with Cattolica, Pesaro and Gradara.

The summer restricted-traffic zones in the centre and Piazza Valbruna had specific periods in 2026. For a stay with a car, authorised access, submitting the registration number when required and a parking space are three distinct matters to clarify with the property.

Tax and comparing offers

Gabicce Mare applies a municipal tourist tax: the period, maximum number of nights, category rates and exemptions appear in the Comune information, while the hotel specifies the amount applied in its quote.

Comparing quotes involves meals, drinks, beach services and parking, with their respective limits. Half board and full board plans differ from an all-inclusive offer. For accessibility, gradients and the route to the sea matter alongside rooms and bathrooms: the criteria appear in the guide to hotels for disabled visitors. Riviera hotels provides comparisons with other resorts.
