Nightclubs and nightlife in Riccione
Riccione nightlife unfolds in three stages, as described by the Comune: beach music at sunset, nightlife in central venues between Viale Ceccarini, Viale Dante and Piazzale Roma, and nightclubs and clubs in the hills behind the town from 1am onwards. Along the coast and at Marano to the north, the municipal tourism portal describes a more informal nightlife beside the sea.
The centre between dinner and music
Viale Dante, Viale Ceccarini and Piazzale Roma allow movement between shops, aperitifs and dinner. Piazzale Roma, beside the sea, also hosts concerts.
Piazzale Ceccarini, opposite Palazzo del Turismo, is another events square: on the night of 31 December 2025, it hosted the New Year celebration. Shopping streets and the building works affecting them are described in shopping in Riccione.
Marano and the hills
Marano is in the northern part of town. Here, Lungomare Goethe and the beach are the area for seaside venues, with aperitifs, dinners and musical evenings, mainly in summer.
The long-established nightclubs are in the hills behind the town and are reached from the coast by car or taxi. On the route between Marano venues and the hill nightclubs, the Polizia Locale also checks cars operating as unlicensed taxis: in July 2025, it fined three drivers and seized their cars.
In summer, Albe in controluce offers beach concerts at the start of the day. Notte Rosa and Ferragosto instead have evening programmes with concerts and celebrations. Riccione events lists periods and venues.
Music finishing times
Music hours are set each year by a mayoral measure. In summer 2026, under the schedule of 17 April 2026, town bars and venues could play music for a maximum of four hours between 6pm and 12.30am from Monday to Thursday, and until 1am from Friday to Sunday; beach venues could do so between 5pm and 1am, again for no more than four hours. Parties at beach establishments and chiringuiti, limited to ten per month, ended by 12.30am. The Comune determines exemptions for holiday periods through separate measures.
The Comune schedule lists all categories, including hotels.
Alcohol and driving
For car journeys back from the hills, the Codice della strada sets a limit of 0.5 grams of alcohol per litre of blood, reduced to zero for drivers under 21 or holding a category B licence for less than three years. National law prohibits alcohol sales in venues from 3am to 6am, except on New Year's Eve and the night of 15-16 August, and requires venues open after midnight to provide a breathalyser at the exit.
Return connections
Metromare links Riccione and Rimini, passing near their railway stations. In the winter 2026-27 timetable, the last service leaves Riccione at 12.24am and Rimini at midnight; summer services continue late into the night, and from 27 June to 30 August 2026, Riccione's last departure was at 2.24am. Bus 11 follows the coast towards Rimini; bus 125 links Riccione with Misano Adriatico and Cattolica.
The Metromare timetables and those for all routes, including summer evening services, are on the Start Romagna website. The taxi rank at the station is another option for evening journeys.
