Riccione's events have three different focal points: the harbour for maritime festivals, seaside squares for concerts and shows, and Riccione Paese for spring traditions. The theatre season continues in autumn and winter, while Christmas and New Year's Eve bring new events to the centre.
Calendar and venues
The calendar runs from the March beach bonfire to Christmas on the seafront, with summer concentrated in seaside squares.

From the March bonfire to Riccione Paese festivities
Fugaracia is the San Giuseppe bonfire on the free beach at Piazzale San Martino. It takes place around 19 March, but not always on that day: in 2025 it was on 18 March, and in 2026 on 21 March after a postponement.
StraRiccione is a late-March race on a town circuit. Beachline Festival brings beach volleyball to the beach north of the harbour around Easter; other competitions are on the sport in Riccione page.
Festa del Beato Alessio involves Riccione Paese on the weekend after Easter. In the 2025 and 2026 editions, celebrations were accompanied by “Io, tu e le rosole”, a free-entry food event rooted in local tradition between Corso Fratelli Cervi and Piazza Unità.
Rustida and Madonna del Mare at the harbour
Festa della Rustida takes place in mid-June in the harbour square and commemorates the storm of 8 June 1964: the last two editions were held on 12 June 2025 and 17 June 2026.
In July, Festa della Madonna del Mare combines religious and maritime traditions, with activities at the harbour and at sea.
Concerts and gymnastics in seaside squares
Riccione Music City brings summer music events together in Piazzale Roma and Piazzale Ceccarini, some free and others ticketed.
Albe in controluce consists of dawn concerts on free beaches. I Giovedì dell'arte brings an evening art market to the seafront. For other activities after the beach, the entertainment in Riccione page explores evening options.
Festival del Sole is devoted to gymnastics for all, with free-entry displays on the seafront and in the squares: it took place between late June and early July in both 2025 and 2026. Notte Rosa follows the regional calendar, with activities for different audiences, including those of Kids Family Festival.
Autumn: Villa Lodi Fè and Spazio Tondelli
From 24 October to early November, the Villa Lodi Fè garden at 2 Viale delle Magnolie hosts Parco delle zucche, with games, workshops and Halloween shows: the first edition in 2025 continued until 2 November, and the second in 2026 until 1 November. Riccione Teatro's 2026-27 season runs from 3 November 2026 to 24 May 2027 at Spazio Tondelli, reopened after refurbishment. The theatre is at the junction of Viale Ceccarini and Viale Don Minzoni. The programme published by the Comune makes it possible to choose an individual evening and check ticket information.
Christmas and the New Year's Day sea dip
Christmas festivities involve the seafront and centre, with programmes running from late November to Epiphany in the 2024-25 and 2025-26 editions. In Piazzale Roma, the Comune awarded a concession for the 55-metre-tall observation wheel for two seasons, Christmas 2025-26 and 2026-27, with permission to remain until March.
On the morning of 1 January, Tuffo di Capodanno takes place on the free beach opposite Piazzale Roma; Befana also brings activities to Riccione Paese.
