Hotels on the Riviera Romagnola

All inclusive hotels

All inclusive is a commercial plan combining several services in the price of a stay, but it has no official definition. In Emilia-Romagna, the regional price-list template has entries for half board and full board but no row for all inclusive: each offer determines its contents.

Drinks, bar and refreshments between meals

In the regional template, full board excludes drinks. All inclusive therefore concerns mainly consumption outside that scope: drinks with meals, bar service, snacks and any packed lunch.

The useful questions are few and specific: which drinks are included, whether only during meals or also at the bar, at what times and with what quantity limits. Items not listed remain chargeable: regional rules require services excluded from the price to be expressly stated, with their cost.

Beach, pool and activities

The Emilia-Romagna bathing ordinance governs beach establishments but not their agreements with hotels: a parasol included in a package is an arrangement between the hotel and a beach establishment, which still displays its own price list. An offer including beach services states how much equipment, at which beach establishment and for which days, including arrival and departure days. Front-row positions and additional equipment may carry a supplement.

Pools, entertainment and children's services have their own dates, times and age limits, described separately in the offer. For mobility requirements, the guide to hotels for disabled visitors lists questions about rooms, bathrooms and the route to the sea.

For stays involving many hours away from the hotel, an offer can be compared with half board. The full board guide explains how to read the total in a quote, including rules on displayed prices and complaints.

Areas and each Comune's tourist tax are described in the resort guides: hotels in Riccione, hotels in Rimini, hotels in Misano Adriatico, hotels in Cattolica, hotels in Gabicce Mare, hotels in Cesenatico, hotels in Bellaria Igea Marina, hotels in Milano Marittima and hotels in Cervia.
