Events in Gabicce Mare
Disco Diva in Piazza Valbruna, Turismo in Festa concerts in Piazza Municipio and activities in Gabicce Monte village are among the events marking the year in Gabicce Mare. Music mainly fills the summer; Carnival and Christmas festivities also bring events outside the bathing season.
When events take place
The events season runs from Easter week to September, with Carnival and December and January celebrations outside the main season. Each month's programme appears in the Gabicce Maremonte events calendar, the Comune's tourism portal.

Disco Diva and summer music evenings
Disco Diva is the disco-music festival mainly held in Piazza Valbruna, Gabicce Monte, the square named after the legend of Valbruna. The 2026 edition took place on 25-27 June.
Turismo in Festa offers concerts in Piazza Municipio. It is not confined to July: in 2026, the series had a second group of evenings on 7-9 August.
Golden Hour instead takes place in spring and early summer, with sunset musical events in different squares. Other evening venues and activities are covered in the guide to entertainment in Gabicce Mare.
Events shared with Cattolica
Granfondo Squali is the amateur cycling race linking the two resorts in mid-May, on roads between the two seafronts and the Panoramica del Monte San Bartolo: its 11th edition ran from 15 to 17 May in 2026. Cycling also returns during Easter week with Settimana Cicloturistica Internazionale, taking participants from Gabicce Mare on a different hinterland route each day; other cycling opportunities appear in the guide to sport in Gabicce Mare.
Modcast combines music and mod culture, with activities in Cattolica and Gabicce Mare in early September. The rest of Cattolica's calendar appears under Cattolica events.
Carnival and celebrations in Gabicce Monte
Carnival changes venue between editions: in 2025, the celebration was in Piazza Matteotti; in 2026, in Gabicce Monte.
Gabicce Monte village also hosts Befana activities on 6 January. At Christmas, the programme is spread between Gabicce Mare and Gabicce Monte, where a living nativity has also taken place in recent years.
