Hotels in Cesenatico

In Cesenatico, the canal harbour divides the Levante and Ponente sectors. Zadina lies towards Cervia; Valverde and Villamarina continue along the coast towards Gatteo a Mare. Choosing a hotel therefore depends on its position relative to the harbour, beach and planned journeys, as well as room facilities.

From the harbour to Zadina and Villamarina

The historic centre follows the canal harbour and its squares. The Levante sector includes the Grattacielo area and central beach; Ponente is across the canal, with green spaces and sports facilities.

Zadina occupies the northern stretch near the pinewood and Cervia border. Valverde and Villamarina are seaside districts south of the centre. Local buses link these neighbourhoods with the centre; from Villamarina or Zadina, the daily trip to the harbour is part of choosing accommodation.

Beach access and services are described in the guides to Cesenatico beach and free beaches.

Accommodation figures

Istat records 275 hotels with 20,011 beds in the Comune in 2025. With 23 apartment hotels, the total rises to 298 hotel establishments. The largest category is three-star, with 198 hotels.

The data cover the entire municipal territory without distinctions between neighbourhoods; for off-season stays, each property's opening dates matter.

Stays during events

The calendar includes events differing in location and season: Nove Colli, harbour activities, fish festivals and Presepe della Marineria. Periods and venues are listed under Cesenatico events.

For a race, services not reflected by the star category matter, such as breakfast hours and bicycle storage. Some streets may close to traffic during harbour events.

Arrival and access to the centre

Cesenatico station is on the Rimini-Ravenna railway line. From there, local services reach the centre and seaside neighbourhoods; bus 94 connects Cesenatico with Cesena. Services and routes can change between summer and winter.

The harbour and historic centre include pedestrian areas with monitored access points; in summer, evening restricted-traffic zones on Viale Carducci and Viale delle Nazioni are added, ending with the season in 2026. Arrival by car requires two details from the property: whether it has parking and how to reach the entrance.

Year-round tax and included services

Since 2025, Cesenatico's tourist tax applies throughout the year for up to seven consecutive overnight stays. For hotels, it ranges from €1 to €4 per person per night according to category; the 2025 rates were confirmed for 2026 by delibera di Giunta n. 320 of 14 November 2025. Children aged up to 14 are exempt. The Comune publishes rates and exemptions and the tax guide.

Full board concerns meals; half board includes a different number. Beach services, drinks and parking depend on the offer, including all inclusive plans. Accessibility depends on measurements and features of routes, rooms and bathrooms, covered in the guide to hotels for disabled visitors. Other resorts appear in the overview of Riviera hotels.
