Rimini nightlife has two centres. By the sea is Marina Centro, between Piazzale Fellini, Viale Vespucci and Piazzale Kennedy, described by the Comune tourism portal as the area for young people's meeting places, aperitifs, pubs and disco bars. In town, Vecchia Pescheria and Borgo San Giuliano, beyond Ponte di Tiberio, are evening meeting points. For nightclubs, the portal mainly lists the southern districts, Miramare and Rivazzurra. In summer, outdoor music can continue until 1am, except in the historic centre, hotels and beach establishments, where it stops at midnight.
Marina Centro and the coast
Piazzale Fellini with its park, Viale Vespucci and Piazzale Kennedy form Marina Centro's core. Between aperitifs and dinner, the walk continues through Parco del Mare; the Belvedere on Piazzale Kennedy is the seaside square for summer DJ sets and concerts, held on ten evenings between 24 July and 2 August in 2026.
Towards the harbour, the walk continues along the Palata to the lighthouse at any hour. The canal harbour breakwater closes during fireworks, as for Notte Rosa 2026, and when sea conditions require it.
To the south, the tourism portal lists pubs and nightclubs in Rivazzurra and, in Miramare, nightclubs, amusement arcades, the summer funfair and go-kart tracks. To the north, San Giuliano Mare and Rivabella have their own squares and seafronts, while from Torre Pedrera to Miramare, tourist committees organise beach parties and dancing evenings each summer.
Vecchia Pescheria and Borgo San Giuliano
Vecchia Pescheria is the 18th-century loggia beside Piazza Cavour. Its Istrian stone counters and nearby Piazzetta San Gregorio, with bars and small wine bars, are the centre of young people's evening life in town, especially on Fridays.
Beyond Ponte di Tiberio, Borgo San Giuliano brings together low houses, murals and businesses along its streets. Piazza sull'Acqua and the walkways over the basin combine a stroll with the route between the two parts of the centre.
Music finishing times
Municipal noise regulations end outdoor music evenings at midnight. From 1 June to 30 September each year, music can continue until 1am throughout the municipality, except in the historic centre and particularly protected areas; in hotels and beach establishments, it still ends at midnight. With an exemption permit, following the regional environmental agency's opinion, individual venues can continue until 2am. In the historic centre, from October to May, the limit falls to 11pm.
For festive nights, the Comune grants longer hours: in 2026, music continued until 2.30am on Notte Rosa nights, and at New Year 2025-26 it ended at 3am.
Evening rules
As in previous years, a mayoral ordinance prohibits alcohol consumption in public spaces in the historic centre and station area at all hours: the current measure runs from 20 June 2026 to 31 January 2027. Venues, authorised outdoor seating areas and event areas are exempt. The perimeter and included streets are in the municipal measure.
Throughout Italy, alcohol sales in venues stop at 3am and resume at 6am, except on New Year's Eve and the night of 15-16 August; venues open after midnight must offer a breathalyser at the exit. The driving limit is 0.5 grams per litre, and zero for anyone under 21 or holding a category B licence for less than three years.
Major event evenings
Notte Rosa spreads events between centre and coast. Ferragosto also brings celebrations to the districts; the New Year programme uses several squares in the centre and by the sea. Dates and venues are in events in Rimini.
The journey back from Rimini
Metromare links Rimini station to Riccione station along the southern coast, with stops in Marina Centro, Rivazzurra and Miramare. In the winter 2026-27 timetable, the last service leaves Rimini Station at midnight and Riccione at 12.24am, with half-hourly services after 9pm. In summer, the service runs late into the night: from 27 June to 30 August 2026, the last departure from Rimini was at 2am.
Route 11 serves the southern coast, but in winter the last service from Rimini FS leaves at 8.07pm; route 4 follows the northern coast towards Viserba and Torre Pedrera. Start Romagna timetables also carry notices for the chosen date. The station offers a return by train; taxis have ranks at the station and elsewhere in the city.
