Wellness in Rimini
Rimini Terme
Rimini Terme is the thermal spa and thalassotherapy complex on Miramare beach in southern Rimini. At 56 Viale Principe di Piemonte, it combines thermal treatments, physiotherapy, seawater pools and a wellness centre.
Two types of water and different services
The facility uses seawater and Miramare thermal water, containing salt, bromine, iodine and bicarbonate, from its own spring a few hundred metres away. Treatment and rehabilitation departments include inhalation therapy, mud treatments and water activities.
The wellness centre has a sauna, steam bath, seawater pools and rest areas. The salt room has salt-covered walls and floor and a window facing the beach. The complex also has a beach establishment.
Booking and season
A doctor's prescription is sufficient for a course of treatment through the Servizio sanitario nazionale; the co-payment is made directly at Rimini Terme. Mud-bathing therapy requires an electrocardiogram no more than three months old. Motor and respiratory rehabilitation courses are covered by agreements with INAIL.
The thermal spa season runs from February to mid-December: from 2 February to 18 December in 2026, normally closed on Sundays. The wellness centre admits ages 14 and over by reservation. In autumn, the biomarine pool opens to the public by reservation from 5 October to 19 December 2026; children are admitted from age 3.
The area is served by bus route 11 and Metromare at the Miramare Airport stop. The coastal setting is described in the Rimini beach guide.
