Wellness in Cervia

Terme di Cervia

Terme di Cervia is at 16 Via Forlanini, on the edge of the Milano Marittima pinewood near Parco Naturale. Mother liquor and mud come from the Cervia salt pan. The complex includes treatment departments and an indoor thermal pool.

The link with the salt pan

Mother liquor is the highly saline water used by the spa. The mud, called liman, forms on the bottom of salt pan basins. These materials link thermal spa activity to the landscape and salt production, also explored by MUSA in Cervia.

The centre offers mud treatments, baths, inhalations, massages and water activities; the medical consultation is also booked directly with the spa.

Season and access arrangements

The thermal season runs from May to December: in 2026, from 4 May to 19 December, Monday to Saturday, with different time slots for the spa and pool. From 7 June to 6 September, the spa also opened on Sunday mornings; solarium mud and bathing treatments ran from 11 May to 3 October.

Terme di Cervia has an agreement with the Servizio sanitario nazionale: a prescription from a GP, paediatrician or specialist, stating the diagnosis and treatment type, allows one treatment cycle per year; a second cycle in the same year is paid privately. Hours and bookings are on the official website's Terme di Cervia opening times and contacts page.
