About

Riviera Romagnola is a guide to coastal resorts and hinterland destinations reachable during a seaside stay. It is produced by Redazione Riviera Romagnola, for which Lucio Bonini is responsible, contactable at info@rivieraromagnola.net.

The guide's resorts

From north to south, the route includes Milano Marittima, Cervia, Cesenatico, Bellaria Igea Marina, Rimini, Riccione, Misano Adriatico, Cattolica and Gabicce Mare. Milano Marittima is part of Comune di Cervia; Gabicce Mare belongs to the Marche region and is included because of the continuity of the coastal territory covered.

Pages cover beaches, places to visit, excursions, events, entertainment, food, children's activities, shopping and hotel stays. They distinguish between resorts to help build a trip without presenting them as identical destinations.

How content is produced

Information comes mainly from Comuni, public bodies, museums, parks and organisers. Texts use these references to reconstruct facts in original wording. Legends and traditions are presented as such, distinct from documented facts.

Opening dates, transport, works and seasonal services change during the year: pages therefore specify the official source and the date on which information was checked. Image origins and licences are collected in the photo credits.

Corrections and enquiries

When reporting outdated or inaccurate information, it helps to send the page link and a source that allows it to be verified. Instructions are on the Contact page. The website provides tourist information; booking and service assistance requests must be addressed to the respective providers.
