In Cattolica, the centre faces the sea through Piazza Primo Maggio. The harbour is towards the Tavollo and Gabicce Mare; the opposite coastal sector reaches the Conca and Misano Adriatico. A hotel's location needs comparison with these landmarks, the station and beach access.
From the harbour to the northern sector
Lungomare Rasi Spinelli follows the stretch between the harbour and Via Fiume. Beyond Via Fiume, the beach continues in front of the Via Carducci area towards the Conca mouth. Piazza Primo Maggio, with Fontana delle Sirene, connects the centre to the seafront walk.
The tourism portal groups accommodation into three areas: the centre, the northern area towards the Conca and Misano Adriatico, and the southern area towards the harbour and Gabicce Mare. Acquario di Cattolica is in the sector towards Portoverde, while the station is further inland.
Beach access and services are described on the Cattolica beach and free beaches pages.

| 4-star and 4-star superior hotels | 19 | 2,767 |

Season and events
May to September accounts for about 92% of overnight stays across all Cattolica accommodation establishments in 2025, calculated from regional figures. July and August have the most overnight stays. Stays at other times require the property's opening dates.
The Cattolica events calendar includes central events, shows and sporting fixtures. Races at the Misano circuit take place in the neighbouring Comune, and the journey to the circuit matters for these stays; races and facilities are described on the sport in Cattolica page.
Arrival from the station and connections
The station is called Cattolica-San Giovanni-Gabicce. Bus route 125 links Cattolica with Portoverde, Misano Adriatico and Riccione; the stops along the route need comparison with the accommodation address and that day's services.
Harbour traffic and central pedestrian areas have their own rules, and in summer 2026 the Comune also trialled evening traffic restrictions. For arrival by car, entrance access, luggage unloading and parking need clarification with the property.
What to compare in the price
In Cattolica, tourist tax at hotels ranges from €1 to €2.50 per person per night depending on category, for up to seven nights; children up to 14 years old are exempt. The rates have been in force since 1 January 2024, and the Comune publishes them on its tourist tax page.

Full board and half board concern meals. Beach use, drinks, a pool and parking depend on the individual offer, even when called all inclusive. Mobility needs require specific details of routes and spaces, covered in the guide to hotels for people with disabilities. Comparison with other towns is on the hotels on the Riviera page.
