Milano Marittima

Hotels in Milano Marittima

In Milano Marittima, the main locations to compare are the central avenues, coast, pinewood and Terme area. The resort is part of Comune di Cervia: municipal hotel figures also include Cervia, Pinarella and Tagliata. Milano Marittima has no separate railway station.

Centre and coast

Rotonda Primo Maggio is the landmark for the central avenues. Viale Gramsci, Viale Due Giugno and Viale Matteotti are among those leading from it. The canal harbour separates Milano Marittima from central Cervia: bridges across the canal connect the two centres.

For a room near the sea, the access point to Milano Marittima beach matters. Proximity to the sea and proximity to the evening avenues are two different criteria, and views, parking and building access depend on the individual property.

Pinewood and Terme

The pinewood lies behind the resort, with access from roads such as Via Jelenia Gora, Viale Ravenna and Viale Forlanini. Terme di Cervia is at 16 Viale Forlanini, open in 2026 from 4 May to 19 December.

Routes and access points into the pinewood are described in excursions from Milano Marittima. Further north, Lido di Savio and Lido di Classe belong to Comune di Ravenna: they are not districts of Milano Marittima.

Cervia's figures and actual opening dates

For 2025, Istat records 342 hotels and 20 apartment hotels across the whole Comune di Cervia. These figures cannot be attributed to Milano Marittima alone. The breakdown by category is on the hotels in Cervia page.

Outside the season, each hotel's opening calendar matters. The Milano Marittima events calendar distinguishes summer events, activities in other months and those held in nearby central Cervia.

Station, buses and car access

Cervia-Milano Marittima station serves both resorts on the Rimini-Ravenna line. Start Romagna route 201 links Milano Marittima with the Terme, station, Pinarella and Tagliata; in winter 2026/27, from November to April, it does not run on Sundays or public holidays.

The free shuttle from the Centro Congressi car park to Rotonda Corelli is a summer service: in 2026, it ended on 13 September. For arrivals by car, the centre has restricted traffic zones and seasonal restrictions: the authorised route and any required permit need clarification with the property before passing an entry checkpoint.

Municipal tax and hotel services

Milano Marittima follows Comune di Cervia's rules: the 2026 Comune guidelines provide for the tax from 1 May to 30 September, for up to seven consecutive nights, with an exemption for children up to 14 years old. There is no separate tax for the resort.

Meals, drinks, beach use and parking are items to compare in the quote. The pages on half board, full board and all inclusive explain the packages; accessibility requires details of routes, bathroom and bedroom, as covered in the guide to hotels for people with disabilities. The overview of hotels on the Riviera allows comparison with other destinations.
