Hotels in Rimini

Staying in Rimini means choosing between the historic centre and a coast stretching from Torre Pedrera to Miramare. Marina Centro is the seaside area linked to the centre by Viale Principe Amedeo. For a business stay, the location of the Fiera or Palacongressi may matter more than proximity to the beach.

The centre and coastal districts

The canal harbour separates the northern and southern stretches of coast. To the north are San Giuliano Mare, Rivabella, Viserba, Viserbella and Torre Pedrera. To the south, beyond Marina Centro, come Bellariva, Marebello, Rivazzurra and Miramare.

In the historic centre, accommodation is chosen in relation to the station, monuments and cultural venues, with attention to access to restricted traffic zones (ZTLs). Marina Centro centres on Parco Fellini and the avenues in the seaside area. Viserba and Torre Pedrera lie in the northern sector; Miramare is towards Riccione and the airport. Beach access and services, stretch by stretch, are described on the Rimini beach page.

Hotels and apartment hotels in 2025

Within the Comune, Regione Emilia-Romagna counts 921 hotels and 105 apartment hotels: together, 1,026 establishments and 67,180 beds. The figures refer to 2025 and the entire municipal area.

4-star and 4-star superior hotels789,325
5-star and 5-star superior hotels2382

Three-star hotels are the most common category. The Regione also distinguishes 297 hotel establishments open all year and 729 seasonal ones: in winter, each property's opening calendar matters more than its category.

Seaside holidays and stays for events

Around 70% of overnight stays in 2025 were concentrated between June and September, calculated from regional figures for all accommodation establishments. Other months have their own calendar of trade fairs and conferences, each with a specific venue to compare with the accommodation address.

The exhibition centre is north of the city. On major event days, trains stop at Rimini Fiera station, 50 metres from the entrance; bus route 9 reaches it from the main station. Palacongressi is a separate venue, on Via della Fiera. The Rimini events calendar lists events and links to their respective programmes.

Stations, airport and getting around

The main station is the reference point for buses and rail connections. Aeroporto Federico Fellini is in Miramare and served by bus route 9. Metromare leaves from the station and reaches Riccione station in about 23 minutes, with 15 intermediate stops along the southern coast, close to the airport and Fiabilandia.

The northern districts are served by buses: route 4 links the station with Viserba and continues towards Bellaria Igea Marina. For car travel, three separate matters count: parking at the hotel, public parking and the restricted traffic zones in the historic centre, Borgo San Giuliano and Parco del Mare, where driving requires a Comune permit.

Quotes and tourist tax

The Comune tax page specifies a maximum of seven consecutive nights and, for hotels, rates of €1.50 to €5 per person per night depending on category, in force since 1 January 2024. Exemptions include children under fourteen.

Offers need to be read alongside the conditions for meals, drinks, beach use, parking and cancellation. The comparison between half board and full board clarifies meals; an all inclusive package requires a list of included services. The category alone does not establish room and bathroom accessibility: the guide to hotels for people with disabilities covers these aspects.

The Rimini section of alberghi.it lists properties in the city. Other destinations are compared in the guide to hotels on the Riviera.
