Italia in Miniatura

Italia in Miniatura is at 239 Via Popilia, in Viserba, northern Rimini. The park opened on 4 July 1970 and brings together replicas of Italian monuments and landscapes, with a selection of European buildings, across 85,000 square metres.

Scale monuments and Venezia

There are several hundred miniatures, surrounded by around 5,000 real miniature trees. Most Italian monuments range in scale from 1:25 to 1:50.

Venezia follows a different approach. Rebuilt at one fifth of actual size, with palaces lining Canal Grande, it is explored by boat, offering a viewpoint much closer to the façades than elsewhere in the park.

Included attractions and activities

Attractions and family spaces accompany the miniatures, and the ticket does not include the same things every day. On winter days and at Christmas, it gives access to Venezia, Esperimenta, Arena di Piazza Italia performances, Torre Panoramica and Pinocchio; in the main season and at Halloween, Vecchia Segheria, Scuola Guida and Pappamondo are among the additions. AreAvventura and Cinemagia 7D cost extra.

A comparison with other family options in the area is in the Rimini with children guide.

Opening dates and arrival

The park opens daily in spring and summer and on selected days during the rest of the year. In 2026, daily opening ran from 28 March to 13 September, with a few exceptions in April and May; after summer, the calendar includes October weekends, the All Saints' holiday period, November Sundays, selected December days and 26 December to 6 January 2027. Hours and tickets are on the official website, with the day-by-day park calendar; ticket offices close an hour and a half before the park.

The entrance is on Via Popilia, along Statale 16 Adriatica and away from the seafront. Without a car, the park can be reached on Start Romagna route 8, which departs from Rimini station, stops at Viserba station and terminates there. Other ideas for the day are in the entertainment in Rimini guide.
