Aquafan's foam party

In 2026, Aquafan in Riccione did not schedule an evening foam party. The park opens in the evening only on selected special days: in summer 2026, these were four “The Long Sunset” evenings, with the park open until late and DJ sets in Piscina Onde. Evening foam parties belong to another period in the park's history: the official website announced evenings each summer between 2011 and 2015.

Foam parties in Aquafan's history

Aquafan opened on 14 June 1987. Foam came later: by the mid-2000s, the park website already presented a foam dance floor among its attractions and entertainment.

Between 2011 and 2015, foam parties became a summer evening event, announced several times per season. In 2012, for example, the park presented the 30 June evening as “the world's biggest foam party” and ended summer with a final party in late August; in 2015, evenings had guest DJs and singers. In 2016, the website instead announced a daytime foam party and a children's foam party.

Of those old website pages, preserved by the Internet Archive, only the titles and dates survive, not the complete programmes.

Summer 2026 evenings and events

Aquafan's 2026 season ran from 1 June to 13 September. Evening openings were concentrated on four Thursdays in July and August, with a sunset DJ set in Piscina Onde and slides open after dinner; events were included in admission.

During the day throughout summer, the park also offered DJ sets, concerts and entertainment. Each season is announced on the park website's Orari e calendario page: the 2026 season was presented on 29 May.

Foam parties for children

The children's version of foam parties remains today. In a news item of 10 July 2026, the park announced a daily “Baby Schiuma Party”; the same name already appeared on the website in 2016 and summer 2025. Water areas for young children and other family-day ideas are collected in the Riccione with children guide.

Getting to Aquafan

The park is in Riccione, opposite the A14 motorway exit, with a large car park beside the entrance. From the beach, the route follows signs for the motorway.

Without a car, Start Romagna route 58 runs directly from Riccione station to the park. From Rimini, route 11 reaches the Piazzale Curiel terminus for a change to route 58; from Cattolica and Misano Adriatico, route 125 also reaches Piazzale Curiel. During the park season, Trenitalia Tper's combined “Aquafan Link” ticket includes the regional train to Riccione and bus to the park.
