Hotels in Riccione

In Riccione, the choice of area is between the centre around Viale Ceccarini, the southern coast of Abissinia and Terme, and the northern coast of Alba and Marano. The station is central; Riccione Paese is inland of the railway. Services and opening months instead depend on each property.

Abissinia, Fontanelle, the centre, Alba and Marano

Along the sea from the Misano Adriatico border, the first area is Abissinia: it follows Viale Torino, where Terme di Riccione is located, as far as Piazzale San Martino. In meetings with residents, the Comune groups it with Fontanelle and Villa Alta; in Fontanelle, the meeting point is Piazza Fontanelle in Viale Sicilia. The main difference between seafront accommodation and a place on neighbourhood streets is the daily route to the beach.

The central seafront reaches Piazzale Roma at the end of Viale Ceccarini and continues to the harbour. Alba is further north towards Piazzale Azzarita; Passeggiata Goethe leads to Marano before the Rimini border.

Riccione Paese has a different orientation: Corso Fratelli Cervi and Piazza Matteotti belong to the historic core inland of the tracks, and reaching the sea involves crossing the railway. For a beach stay, the Riccione beach guide describes access and beach arrangements.

Hotel accommodation in the 2025 data

Regione Emilia-Romagna records 361 hotel establishments and 24,577 beds in the Comune in 2025. The total includes 36 apartment hotels; the largest hotel category is three-star.

Summer, conferences and other events

In the 2025 regional data, May-September accounts for about 82% of overnight stays across all Riccione accommodation. August has the most overnight stays.

Palazzo dei Congressi is near the station and central avenues. For event stays, the venue matters: town events and races at the nearby Misano circuit have different destinations. The year's calendar appears under Riccione events.

Arriving without a car and arranging parking

The station is central. Metromare links it to Rimini station in about 23 minutes, with 15 intermediate stops along the coast; Start Romagna bus 125 instead runs towards Misano Adriatico and Cattolica.

For arrival by car, the property's parking, availability of a space and its cost need clarification before arrival.

Tax and offer conditions

In Riccione, tourist tax is charged per person per night for up to seven consecutive overnight stays; children aged up to 14 are exempt. The regulations in force since 2023 and forms appear on the municipal tax information page, which publishes no rates table: the hotel states the amount for its category in the quote.

Comparing offers involves meals, drinks, beach services, parking and cancellation terms as well as category. Questions for each plan are explained in the guides to half board, full board and all inclusive. Accessibility requires specific details about rooms, bathrooms and the entrance route, described in the guide to hotels for disabled visitors.

Town properties can be viewed in the Riccione section of alberghi.it; the guide to Riviera hotels compares the resorts.
