Milano Marittima
Entertainment in Milano Marittima
Central Milano Marittima combines walks and evening life around Rotonda Primo Maggio and Viale Gramsci. In summer, open-air concerts take place at the Rotonda and Arena dello Stadio dei Pini; by day, the pinewood and attractions on its edge are options. Outside the season, the nearest theatre and museums are in Cervia.
The centre and evening walks
Rotonda Primo Maggio is a landmark for orientation among the central avenues. From here, a walk passes shops and places to pause; side streets towards the sea connect the centre to the beach area. Purchases are covered on the shopping in Milano Marittima page.
In summer, along the Canalino at Prima Traversa, Vialetto degli Artisti is an evening art and craft market, with free admission from 8pm to midnight; a second edition takes place in spring.
Summer music, shows and art
Il Trebbo in musica is Ravenna Festival's summer series for Cervia and Milano Marittima, in partnership with Comune di Cervia: evening performances at Arena dello Stadio dei Pini between June and July. The seventh edition in 2026 had seven events from 14 June to 9 July.
At Rotonda Primo Maggio, Milano Marittima Festi Jazz brings free concerts at 9pm over two weekends between July and August; in 2026, its sixth edition, on 17 and 18 July and 31 July and 1 August.
In July, Mare d'Arte Festival spreads free-entry art, music and meetings across public spaces, from the Rotonda to beaches and harbour: its second edition ran from 3 to 12 July 2026. From the first edition in 2025, the sculpture “Non basta il canto delle sirene” remains permanently installed on the northern quay of Cervia's canal harbour, on the Milano Marittima side.
Fairground rides and other travelling entertainments have no fixed area: each year Comune di Cervia specifies permitted locations through a Giunta resolution. Other events, together with festivities across Cervia's territory, are presented in Milano Marittima events. Nightlife and evening rules are covered in the evening and nightlife guide.
Parks and activities among the trees
Parco Naturale di Cervia, on Viale Carlo Forlanini in the Terme area, has a freely accessible green area and an animal area with separate admission. Inside it, CerviAvventura offers aerial courses among the pines, with age and height requirements.
Casa delle Farfalle, on Via Jelenia Gora, is a tropical greenhouse in the pinewood with free-flying butterflies and an insect section; it opens seasonally, from spring to early autumn.
For choosing by age, the Milano Marittima with children guide distinguishes games, parks and local outings.
An alternative in Cervia
Cervia's canal harbour and Borgo Marina offer a walk in a different setting from central Milano Marittima. A stop can be combined with local flavours or a visit to MUSA, Museo del Sale.
Teatro comunale Walter Chiari in Cervia is the main venue for indoor performances: the 2026-2027 season begins on 27 October 2026 and continues until April 2027. Cervia's theatre, cinema and festivities are described in entertainment in Cervia; comparison across all resorts is in entertainment on the Riviera.
